How long does the PVC card take to arrive?

UIDAI says it hands the printed card to India Post within 5 working days of a successful request, not counting the request date. After that, delivery follows normal Speed Post timelines for your area.

Can I order a PVC card if my mobile number is not registered with Aadhaar?

Yes. On the official order page, choose the option for a non-registered mobile and enter another number to receive the OTP. In this case you will not see a preview of your card details before paying.

Where will my PVC card be delivered?

It is sent by Speed Post to the address currently in yourAadhaar record. If you have moved, update yourAadhaar address first; otherwise the card goes to the old address.

Is the PVC card more valid than e-Aadhaar or the paper letter?

No. UIDAI treats the Aadhaar letter, PVC card, e-Aadhaar and the AadhaarApp as equally valid. The PVC card is simply a durable, wallet-size format with security features such as a secure QR code.

How do I track my PVC card order?

Keep the Service Request Number (SRN) you receive after payment. Use it to check the request on UIDAI’s official service, and use the India Post tracking number once the card has been dispatched.
